La preposition chez

The preposition chez means house, home. The way that you use it, is by using the word chez followed by a person

Chez + person Examples Chez Kelsey – at Kelsey’s house Chez mon amie – my friends house Chez la prof – at the teacher’s house

Chez que – Whose house You can also use chez to ask a question. Chez qui vas-tu? – To whose house are you going?

Examples Tu vas chez ta copine.- You are going to your friends house. Je suis chez ma grand-mere. – I am at my grandmothers house. Nathalie dine chez sa copine.- Nathalie eats dinner at her friends house.
