Surrender / Paid-up Value For Regular Premium 3 full years premiums should have been paid, The sum assured of paid up policies will be reduced under the policy by paid up factors which depend on the number of premiums paid to the total number of premiums actually payable as per the term chosen at inception and survival benefits already paid to the policy holder The Paid-up Sum Assured along with any vested simple reversionary bonuses including terminal bonus, if any, will be called the ‘Paid-up Value’ of the policy, this paid-up value will be paid on maturity or earlier death of the life assured. Survival benefit for paid up policy ‘Paid Up Value’ on maturity will be paid in lump sum; No survival instalment would be paid in case of paid-up policy. A paid-up policy will not participate in any subsequent distribution of profits. Large Sum Assured Discount The Large Sum Assured rebate is offered as a discount on the basic premium, as per the following slabs: Sum Assured Rebate per 1000 of Sum Assured Regular Premium Rs. 2 Lacs => SA < Rs. 3 Lacs Rs.1.00 Rs. 3 Lacs => SA < Rs. 6 Lacs Rs.2.00 => Rs.6 Lacs Rs.3.00

Other Provisions Grace Period Suicide Exclusion: 30 days for yearly, half-yearly & quarterly mode 15 days for monthly mode Suicide Exclusion: If the Life Assured, whether sane or insane, commits suicide within 12 months from the date of issue of this Policy or the date of any reinstatement of this Policy, the policy will become null and void and no claim will be paid. However, an amount equal to 80% of the premiums paid will be paid to the nominee in case of suicide within one year from the date of issue of this policy, provided the policy is in force. And in case of suicide within one year from the date of reinstatement 80% of the premiums paid or surrender value, whichever is higher, will be paid to the nominee.

Tax Benefit Premiums paid are eligible for deduction under Section 80C of Income Tax Act 1961 Premiums paid towards CritiCare 13 non linked rider are eligible for deduction under Section 80D of Income Tax Act 1961 Maturity & death proceeds are exempt from tax liability under Sec 10(10D) of the Income Tax Act 1961 The tax benefits are subject to change with the change in the income tax laws and for availing the tax benefits, the I.T. guidelines have to be followed

AML/KYC Requirements Features : Type of Contracts Documents Insurance Contracts with individuals Proof of Name (Legal name and any other names used) Passport PAN Card Voter’s Identity Card Driving License Letter from a recognized public authority or public servant verifying the identity and residence of the customer (meaning of public authority & public servant separately circulated) If none of the above documents are available, a personal identification and certification of the concerned of the SBI Life branch employee heading the channel through which the business is sourced for identity of the prospective policyholder along with a photograph of the customer Job Card issued by National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, duly signed by an officer of State Government. Where the premium amount exceeds Rs. 10,000/- a self attested recent photograph of the customer has to be submitted with the proposal form

(Sole proprietorships certificates will not be accepted) In case the customer is residing in Rural areas where it may not be possible to obtain the standard address proof, voter id card will be accepted as address proof provided the address mentioned in the proposal form and the Voter Id card are same
