Staples - Google Home In-Line Display

Objective Create an inline semi-perm solution for STAPLES that would showcase/promote the sale of Google Home, Chromecast, Google Wi-Fi and Nest products (thermostat and indoor camera). Solution would not merchandise product (utilize redemption packaging).

Solution/Details This merchandiser creates an incredibly powerful in-store presence through the use of concise/focused graphics and structure. Display was specifically designed for Staples (current test initiative). The product/information platform presents the information in an uncluttered manner. It’s the ultimate oasis of simplicity located in the crowded area of home automation products. 48”W x 60’H x 18”D (display dresses out an existing inline gondola fixture). Digitally printed foam cor header and redemption packaging. Header, demo product and cards are easily updated. Unprinted corrugate packaging trays include clear pricing channel. Trays arrive pre-packed. Powder coated sheet metal product platform hooks onto gondola fixture. Pre-mounted product and acrylic information card holders. Entire system assembles to fixture in minutes due its preassembled nature. Each display shipped on its own pallet. Production Qty: 200

Insights What is the compelling message: The words “Made by Google” simplify the message for consumers. Everyone is profoundly aware of the brand….these three simple words command immediate attention. White was specifically chosen for the signage and structure, as it exudes the characteristics of cleanliness, simplicity, ease and freshness. It’s best utilized with science and high technology…both strengths of Google. This display is a classic example of “less is more”…display graphics were purposely minimized for maximum impact and to place all focus onto the product! Google continues to be a category leader in home automation. Nest products were included on the display as the brand is owned by Google.
