Outline What types of fabrics are popular? What clothing fashion are in? How do people wear their hair? What types of shoes do people prefer? What accessories do people like to wear? What other aspects of fashion are important?

What types of fabrics are popular? Wool. Cotton. Silk . Black leather.

What clothing fashion are in? For men: baggy pants from the waist to the knee, then tightly fitted from the knee to the ankle and they called (Shirwell) and a long sleeved shirt. Still worn in some villages!

For women: long dresses those big ones they used to wear in the olden days.

How do people wear their hair? The men wear (shemagh) with (ugal) or red big cap and the called (tarbosh)

The women wear scarf or (hejab).

What types of shoes do people prefer? Black leather shoes or (kobkab)

What accessories do people like to wear? The women wear earrings, rings ,bracelets and long and necklaces. Most of it made of silver and precious stones.

What other aspects of fashion are important? The clothes of traditional Lebanese dance (debkeh).
