Government regulations have increased the need for accountants College enrollments are growing Students graduating with accounting degrees have jobs waiting for them upon graduation Today the FBI ranks Accounting/Finance as their #1 critical skill needed for new recruits

Types of Assessment Formative Summative Assignments given throughout the unit to get a benchmark as to where a student stands at that point in time Grade will be shown in Infinite Campus, however will not count towards calculation Meant to provide students/parents/and teachers with information regarding progress towards the learning standard(s) Assignment given to assess a student’s final learning in relation to the learning standard(s) Grade will be shown in Infinite Campus and count towards calculation

Re-Do’s and Re-Takes Provided at teacher discretion Students need to complete test corrections and have a completed packet prior to re-taking the assessment Students must complete re-take within a set amount of time Most recent grade will be used in grade calculation.
