Course Loads Average course load Full-time status and tuition Plan to register for at least 16 credits total, or 4 classes (FSEM plus 3 other classes) If you drop a class, would still be a full-time student at 12 credits/3 classes Dropping below full-time status could impact your financial aid package, on-campus housing, and/or DU health insurance Deadlines for adding or dropping classes can be found on the Registrar’s website Dropping past week 1 incurs a “W” on your transcript Full-time status and tuition Full time status tuition flat rate is for 12-18 credits Pay per credit over 18 credit hours 20-21 hours requires approval – cannot do this your first quarter
