INICIATIVES FOR KAUNAS „Initiatives for Kaunas“ is a program for local NGO‘s, developed by Kaunas Municipality to select the most innovative, interesting and relevant projects, which contribute to the strategic objectives of Kaunas City. Areas of funding: Cultural and artistic activities. Strengthening the image of the city. Promotion of healthy lifestiles. Strenthening of NGO‘s and local community. Improving the quality of social services. Sports. Over 530 applications were submitted in 2016. 374 projects for 3.641.277 € were funded and are currently being implemented.
