4 About Darmstadt Darmstadt is in the middle of the federal state Hessen in Germany. Darmstadt is a town between Heidelberg and Frankfurt (which is also knows as MAINHATTEN). 5 Typically German The German language is known as a difficult language in the whole world. Germany means ''Deutschland'' in German. The capital of Germany is Berlin. There is a lot of American food here, too. In Germany there is the Schloss Neuschwanstein, known as Cindarella Castle. It is almost one of the 7 Wonders of the world. German people are known as authentic, organized and busy. Then we also have the Octoberfest. Its about 2 weeks at a year. There everyone wears a Dirndl and leather trousers, it gives pretzel, beer and everyone is happy. Also Germany is known for sausages, black forest cake, cuckoo clocks, schnitzel, sauerkraut, the Black Forrest and Bavaria. By Nathalie Auer

6 My daily routine I stand up at 6 o' clock in the morning. Then I have breakfast and I drink tea or milk. At 7.15 I leave the house. The way to school is very short but I go another way because I pick up my friend. Mostly I have 6 lessons so that is I have school until 1 p.m. In our school a lesson isnt 60 minutes, it is only 45 minutes. Mondays I have school till 5.30 p.m. and Tuesdays till 3.15 p.m. When I come home from school I do my homework first and then I eat while I watch TV. From 4 o clock till 6 o clock I go to soccer training. I come home at 7 p.m. and then I take a shower. In the evening my family and I drink tea and we watch TV. At 10 p.m. I go to bed. On the weekends I have soccer matches. After the soccer match I play soccer again with my cousins. From Naim Sevincli FREIZEIT (Free time)

7 Sport acrobatics Sport acrobatics means to do gymnastic in a group as a competition match (for example in a group of three). Also you can call it floor exercises. The smallest mate climbs on the top of the other two. There are rules: you can do the sport acrobatics in a woman group of three or a man group of three and also in a woman group of two or man group of two. You must always hold your toes stretched. There are groups A and C. A is the master class and C the beginner class. There are difficult elements but also easy elements. You must be flexible. There are championships all over the world. Kids in my age (14-13 years old) can go to the championships if they are good at it. It is fun but also stressful. From Shanita Arnold

8 Handball Handball is a team sport. There are two teams who compete against each other. The goal of the match is to throw the handball in the other goal. At handball you can touch the ball only with the hands; only the goalkeeper can kick the ball with the foot. The team that has the most points at the end of the game wins. There are six field players and a goalkeeper. A regular game is twice 30 minutes. The birthday of hand ball is 29. October American handball is a total different sport than German handball. 9 Rules of soccer The international soccer field is 45-90m width and m length. Every team has 11 players on the field. The game is 90 minutes long with one break. There is one referee in the field and three referees on the outside of the field. The match begins on the centerline and it ends when the referee whistles. When one team scores a gaol then the other team has the ball and starts from the centerline. When one of the players fouls a player from the other team, the other team gets a free kick.
