What is Action Research? Action Research is a developed way of solving problems within a community via an individual’s response to the situation or topic at large.

Reflection Question #1 Do you think cell phones and other technology add to the frustration road rage brings? To decrease the amount of road rage an individual inflicts or encounters, new legislation to ban the use of cell phones while driving should be passed. If more states adhered to limited of use of cell phones while driving, less accidents and road rage would occur.

What do you think most car accidents are caused by? Reflection Question #2 What do you think most car accidents are caused by? After the poll was taken, most accidents were voted to have happened because of one form of distraction. The top distractions were texting. Texting caused the driver to not pay attention. If more laws were passed to decrease the use of cell phones, more accidents could be eliminated.

Most common action of road rage by drivers is tailgating. Reflection Question #3 Most common action of road rage by drivers is tailgating. This suggests that technology is not the complete fault of accidents. That sometimes tailgating and other driving tactics by individuals cause accidents because of their defensive driving.

Conclusion In conclusion, road rage is a type of defensive driving that can take many different forms. Most commonly road rage takes shape in tailgating, speeding, and the usage of cell phones on the road. Eliminating cell phones while driving could eliminate much of the stress road rage causes.
