Roy Lichtenstein Lichtenstein used common objects including food, furniture, household products, animals, clothing and everyday objects.

"Everything is beautiful. Pop is everything." Andy Warhol Andy Warhol once said, "Everything is beautiful. Pop is everything." He was another Pop Artist who created art from recognizable popular cultural icons including famous people.

Repetition Andy Warhol is most famous for making works of art that show numerous repetitions of the popular image or object.

Printing repeated images Andy Warhol experimented with color. In his art work, he printed the same image using a variety of color combinations. Although each image is the same, the different color combinations express a variety of moods and change the appearance of the object.

Complementary Colors Red and Green Yellow and Violet Orange and Blue Notice how complementary colors really make the images seem to “Pop” out!

Andy Warhol Style Many artists have imitated Andy Warhol’s style and ideas of repeating popular images.
