GRADING Scale: 1, 2, 3, 4 Tests will be given in all subject areas Tests must be signed and returned Grades will be posted on PowerSchool

GATES AND COGATS Gates: Reading test taken twice a year CogATs: Cognitive ability test taken by first graders in the beginning of March These tests do not impact report card grades!

FIELD TRIPS 1-2 field trips a year Parents are chosen through a lottery Must be VIRTUS trained to attend No siblings are permitted on trips

BIRTHDAYS Each child will be permitted to celebrate his/her birthday in school! Notes will go home to confirm day and time Best times: 9:45AM or 12:20PM Treats are allowed (18 students) Bring in a favorite book

IMPORTANT REMINDERS Notes must be sent in for any dismissal changes (not e-mailed) Notes must be sent in on the day your child returns to school from being absent Lunch coupons are collected each morning (no cash can be accepted)
