What to Expect: What to Expect:   All teams should expect to arrive in the Heritage Aviation/Pratt & Whitney Tarmac Area by 11:30 at the latest CHECK IN: Please check in at registration when you arrive (first tent when you walk through entrance). Participants should turn in all offline pledges/donations at registration.  Credit cards will be accepted onsite. Team members who have not signed up online must register at the registration tent.  Waivers must be filled out and turned in by all participants in order to get your wristband to participate. All spectators must stay in the viewing and tent areas. SECURITY:  BTV will have security on site, and all participants are asked to stay within the event limits.  Please have a photo ID on you at all times.

The fun begins – pulling the plane!   Each team will pull a 757 FedEx Plane 12 feet. The plane pull is a timed event – fastest time for pulling the plane is the winner. The fastest time in each category will receive a trophy and the fastest overall time is the Grand Prize Winner of the day! Teams will be called to an “On Deck” area to prepare for their pull. Listen to our emcees and our volunteers for your team announcement and assemble quickly wearing your wristbands. Your team photo will be taken there.  All spectators must remain in the designated area. Each team will be allowed two pulls. The fastest time will be recorded. The Pull:  Teams proceed to the designated starting area and position themselves at the rope.  Time begins once the whistle sounds and ends when the aircraft front landing gear reaches the 12 feet mark as determined by the Timekeeper and the whistle sounds a second time. We will take another team photo by the aircraft after you complete the second pull. Please stay with your team and go back to the bleacher area so the next team can line up.
