CWMS OVA Installation

Agenda The basic system requirements for the OVA installation and also the step-by-step procedure for creating CWMS VM

System Requirements

Hardware UCS C220 M3 UCS B200 M3 Older versions acceptable but these are recommended for better user experience

IP and DNS requirements Non-split Horizon DNS <admin-vm-FQDN> <admin-vm-IP-address> <media-vm-FQDN> <media-vm-IP-address> <web-vm-FQDN> <web-vm-IP-address> <IRP-vm-FQDN> <IRP-vm-IP-address> <Administration-site-URL> <Private-VIP-address> <WebEx-site-URL> <Public-VIP-address> Split-horizon DNS <WebEx-site-URL> <Private-VIP-address> Note Public VIP and IRP VM IP - same subnet Private VIP and Internal VM IP(admin, media and web) - same subnet

CWMS System Deployment

Types of System Deployment Automatic : Only for 50, 250 and 800 user system Manual : Supported for all system sizes

Public VIP Must be visible from both internet and internal network (for split-horizon DNS) Must be on same subnet as the IRP

Private VIP Administration URL is mapped to private VIP For split-horizon, the webex-site URL of internal users is mapped to private VIP Must be on same subnet as your internal (Admin and Media, if applicable) VM

System check Verifies the configuration parameters of the system and validates the webex site and administration URLs If the page is reloaded, you are returned to the first page of system deployment
