How class works: Logistics Start time: 10:00AM EST End time: 5:00PM EST Brunch / Lunch: 1:00PM EST Morning and Afternoon breaks: 10-15 minutes When you are away from your computer, please set your status to away. Show students how to set their status to away.

How class works: Participating Asking Questions Raise your hand. Type a private question via the chat interface. Indicating pace If you feel the pace is too fast or too slow, you can indicate that. Thumbs up / Thumbs down I’ll regularly ask for feedback on the interface to make sure you can see what I’m presenting. If you can, give me a thumbs up. If you cannot, give me a thumbs down. Show students how to do these things.

How class works: Exercises There will be hands-on exercises throughout the class. When introducing the exercise, I’ll tell you how much time you have and when class will start back up. Sharing your application. During exercises, I may ask you to share the application you’re working on, so I can see how you’re doing. Don’t worry if you don’t finish every exercise. We will review them.
