GROWTH – 20% OUR EXPECTATION IS THAT YOU WILL SHOW GROWTH ON EACH ASSESSMENT. ASSESSMENTS WILL BE ASSIGNED FOR EVERY TWO WEEKS OF INSTRUCTION. GROWTH GOALS WILL BE 10% IMPROVEMENT OVER PREVIOUS TEST SCORE.

GRADE CALCULATIONS NINE WEEKS GRADES WILL BE BASED ON A PERCENTAGE OF STATED CATEGORIES. SEMESTER GRADES WILL BE 50% FOR EACH NINE WEEKS (WE WILL NOT HAVE A SEMESTER TEST INSTEAD THE END OF THE QUARTER TEST IS PART OF THE NINE WEEKS GRADE).

EXTRA CREDIT IS AVAILABLE AND WILL BE PART OF THE CLASSWORK GRADE! PARENT SIGNATURES SPECIAL PROBLEMS NON-USED PASSES

Passes: EACH STUDENT WILL RECEIVE THREE PASSES TO BE USED DURING EACH NINE WEEKS PERIOD. YOU MAY NOT USE PASSES FROM THE PREVIOUS NINE WEEKS. ONCE YOU USE ALL PASSES YOU MAY LEAVE THE ROOM BUT MUST MAKE UP TIME IN DETENTION. 5 POINTS EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY PASSES NOT USED DURING THE GRADING PERIOD. STUDENT ORGANIZER PASS IS ALSO REQUIRED. ALWAYS SIGN THE IN/OUT LOG.

SCIENTIFIC CALCULATORS WE HAVE 30 “TI30 Multiview” FOR YOUR USE IN THE ROOM DURING SECOND SEMESTER. YOU MAY NOT BORROW THEM FOR OVERNIGHT.

ALGEBRA 1 DO NOT CHEAT YOURSELF OF YOUR DIPLOMA! NOW YOUR GRADUATION QUALIFYING EXAM – ISTEP + TO BE GIVEN AS A FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE. ALL STATE STANDARDS WILL BE STUDIED. DO NOT CHEAT YOURSELF OF YOUR DIPLOMA!
