Proton therapy

Why proton therapy Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. Til year 2019 127 Centres worldwide. Growth of global proton therapy market in last 14 years: 22%.

Regional Centre for Proton Therapy in Slovenia Location: Ljubljana New treatment options We will increase cure rate and reduce cancer mortality in Slovenia and abroad Construction of a regional centre in Slovenia in cooperation with domestic and international partners in the value chain From 25M€ (for a one treatment room centre) to 200M€ (for a multi-room centre) we wish to construct a regional centre in Slovenia in collaboration with experienced proton therapy international partners (e.g. Varian, MedAustron and IBA) After patients are treated, they can take advantage of the health benefits of the thermal spas and the beautiful, natural attractions of Slovenia. Medical tourism from AUT, ITA, HUN, CRO etc. with high added value Slovenia, as an EU member, gives non-European partners access to the EU market and allows participation in clinical research Participation in this initiative opens the doors to selling such centres world wide Break-even for one room centre is ca. 250 patients yearly
