Business Class 2017/18 Semester Plan

1) Explore the world of business through action Learning Objectives 1) Explore the world of business through action 2) Practice the skills of leadership, research and presentation 3) (hopefully) Start and manage a school business 4) Apply concepts from our book to our business, and from our business to our book.

What do we need to do? In order to understand and run a successful business we need to carefully plan the following things 1) Market 2) Management 3) Making it happen

Market We need to understand the wants and needs of our customers, and the availability of our resources, balanced by price. Chapter 11 – Marketing basics Chapter 12 – Product basics Chapter 13 – Making it happen
