Eco Club Good morning everyone, we would like to talk to you about Earth Hour 2017. 10 years ago one country, Australia, took a stand against Climate Change and celebrated the first ever Earth Hour. The movement has grown and in 2016, 178 countries took part. Together we can make a difference. This Saturday 25th March from 8.30 – 9.30pm across 24 time zones and 6 continents people will switch off their lights to raise awareness of Climate Change. Please sit quietly and watch this…Earth Hour 2017 – 10 years of impact https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZp4LX4AYnM_2m46 What do you know about Earth Hour? What has Papdale done to celebrate this?

Eco Club This is what we would like to do again this year. For us to change Climate change, we will be switching our lights off from 2 to 3pm every day this week, Monday to Friday starting this afternoon. We will also take meter readings before and after the hour to see how much electricity we have saved. We can compare it to last year’s results. We want to show you another short video. It is all about being an Earth Hour Superhero! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=324HoiLWNrM Let’s change climate change by being Earth Hour Superheros this week and remember to switch off between 2-3pm. Thank you for listening!
