Dorothy Hodgkin,1910-1994, was a British biochemist who developed protein crystallography, for which she won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1964. Dorothy Hodgkin looked at how atoms fit together into very complicated molecules. She used X-ray crystallography to find out what penicillin and insulin look like.
