Book Review By Trinity Driver Pipi Longstocking Genre: Fiction Book Review By Trinity Driver

What was the book about? If you are weird, funny and cheeky- and like sleeping with your feet at your pillow and your head under the covers, then this is the book for you! This is a book where Pipi Longstocking moves into Villekulla Cottage and makes best friends with the next-door neighbours-Tommy and Annika and go on fun and exciting adventures!!!

How did I feel about the book? I found this book unusual but funny! I really enjoyed it because was full of excitement and there were no boring bits because sometimes people read a book and it was just speech all the way through! Boring!!! If I were to rate this book I would give it 9/10!!! I would give it a 9/10 because there was one chapter I didn’t quite understand. But anyway it was a very enjoyable book!

My favourite part! My favourite part is when Pipi, Tommy, Annika and Mr Nelson (Pipi’s Monkey) all set of for a picnic. Then all of a sudden a bull starts to chase Tommy around the paddock! Pipi comes up behind the bull and tugs his tail. Then you see the bull trying to buck Pipi off his shoulders! Pipi sings: “LOOK AT ME AND MY LITTLE FRIEND DANCING!!!” Tommy and Annika tremble like autumn leaves! This is my favourite part because I could just picture a little girl with plats riding this humongous bull!

What was the idea of the book? The message was to have fun, use your imagination, and go on adventures. Do what ever you want!

Recommendation! I think that this is a book for fun, crazy, adventurous girls. Although boys could probably read it too! It’s really just a children’s book. I’ve never read anything like it! (In a good way!)

The Characters! My favourite character of course was Pipi! The main characters were Pipi, Tommy, Annika, Mr Nelson(The Monkey) and a horse. Pipi is very strange and makes up words such as Turnupstuffer.

The setting of the book! She lives in Villekulla Cottage. In a small little town. It’s a very fun and happy area.

Did it have a good ending? I think Astrid Lindgren could of done a bit better with the ending because it didn’t really make me that excited but it did give me an idea of what’s going to happen next!

Thanks for watching!!! See you next time!!! By Trinity Driver!!!
