Subjects continued Grades Page 2 Subjects continued Social Studies: This year we will learn about the geography of our country, the Native Americans of North America, explorers who headed west to find new land, Colonial America, The American Revolution, The founding of America, and it’s expansion to 50 states. The students will be responsible for learning all fifty states and capitals. Each week they will have 2 state papers to do and keep in a folder. Science/Health: The four units covered are physical science, earth and space, life science, and technology. In Health we will learn about how to obtain wellness. Grades Art, Music, Conduct, and Work Habits will receive an E, S, N, or U. Reading, Language, Math, Social Studies, and Science/Health will receive letter grades.
