Introduction Do you know about the Gobi Desert, Taklimakan Desert or the Himalayas? Well learn here.

Taklimakan Desert What is the Taklimakan desert? The Taklimakan is located in east China. Sometimes called the Sea of Death. Crossing the Taklimakan Desert is very dangerous. There is very little water in the there. It is one of the biggest sandy deserts in the world. It has many Desert dust storms. Sometimes people find treasures there.

Taklimakan Desert What are some living things in the Taklimakan desert? Very few people live there because it is a very dangerous place for people to stay. Many goats live there. It also has many snakes. There are very few plants living there. Many camels live there also you can find tigers there. It also has a rare kind of deer that lived or lives there.  

Taklimakan Desert What is the climate of the Taklimakan Desert? Most of the time it’s warm, but in winter it is very cold. Sometimes it drops to negative 4 degrees, very rarely it drops to negative 20 degrees. But if it’s not winter, it’s hot. The Taklimakan Desert was voted driest and hottest desert in china. Also, the Taklimakan Desert gets lots of rain. It sometimes gets 10 millimeters of rain. In 2008 the Taklimakan Desert got 4 centimeters of snow. The Taklimakan Desert also lay’s in the rain showers of the Himalaya’s. Overall, that’s the Taklimakan Desert’s climate.  

Taklimakan Desert What is the size of the Taklimakan Desert? The full area of the Taklimakan desert is about 123,550 square kilometers. Also, the Taklimakan Desert elevates about 3,900 to 4,900 feet or in other words 1,200 to 1,500 meters. The Taklimakan desert is about 100,000 square miles long. In addition, the Taklimakan desert is as BIG as the country Germany! Additionally, above sea level from east to south is from 2,600 to 3,300 feet. Or 800 to 1,000 meters in the east and north. All in all, that is the size of the Taklimakan desert.

Taklimakan Desert In conclusion the Taklimakan Desert is a very interesting place with very mixed climate and the size of Germany! It also has many animals and rocks, sand, and sand dunes. You can visit there but be sure to bring a water bottle.

Gobi Desert What is the Gobi desert? The Gobi Desert is one of the deserts in china. Gobi means “waterless place.” The Gobi Desert is located close to northern China and Mongolia. The Gobi Desert is one of the largest Deserts in the world. In addition, the Gobi desert is located on a high plateau. Overall, those are some facts about the Gobi Desert.  

Gobi Desert What is the size of the Gobi Desert? The Gobi Desert covers 1.3 square kilometers of the Asian continent. Average highs are 113 degrees Fahrenheit. The Gobi stretches 1,000 miles east and west and nearly 5,000 miles north and south. Less then 8 inches of rain falls every year in the entire Gobi Desert. The Gobi Desert is the 5th largest desert in the world. The Gobi is 500,000 square miles long. Also, the Gobi is 3,000 feet above sea level. All in all, that is the size of the Gobi Desert

Gobi Desert What are some animals in the Gobi Desert? One animal is a snow leopard. Another animal is the Jerboa, a family of small mammals also lives there. The Bactrian camel also lives there. The Przewalskis is the last species of wild horses. Finally, the central Asian Viper one of the most dangerous Lizards in the world. In conclusion, there are many animals In the Gobi Desert.

Gobi Desert What is the climate of the Gobi Desert? The climate is mostly cold in the Gobi Desert. You may think it is hot because it is a desert. It is actually not hot there just like the Taklimakan Desert. It is rated one of the coldest deserts in the world.

Gobi Desert What are some characteristics of the Gobi Desert? They are many sand dunes in the there. It does not have many plants. The Gobi Dessert has gold, silver, and bronze under the sand. It was the first place for dinosaur eggs to be found.

Gobi Desert In conclusion the Gobi Desert is a very unusual place with cold climate and many animals. It is also a gigantic place. It has sand dunes, gold, silver, bronze, and dinosaur eggs. If you ever go to the Gobi Desert be sure to bring a jacket.

Himalayas What are the Himalayas? The Himalayas are a group of mountains. They are bordered by Libten Plateau. The Himalayas contain very large mountains. They have significance to people in south Asia. The Himalayas elevate very high. The mountains include the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest. All in all, the Himalayas are very interesting.

Himalayas What is the height of the Himalayas? It contains the BIGGEST Mountain in the world. Mount Everest. It elevates up to 24,000 feet! Also known as 72,000 meters! The length is 2,400 kilometers. Also known as 1,500 miles!

Himalayas What are the characteristics of the Himalayas? One characteristic is some large glaciers (block of ice). Also snowcapped peaks (peaks with snow on top). Another is lots of snow. Of course mountains but also deep river gorges and rich vegetation. In conclusion, those are just some characteristics.
