The Convergence Portal Tracking sales, managing customers and suppliers bogs down the sales process. As the saying goes, “When I’m clerking, I’m not working”. Convergence has designed sales management portals for many of the leading electronics companies like Advantech, and now we’ve created one for the Convergence Sales Organization for TQ in North America. This short presentation will guide you through the Portal and show you how to use it effectively. At the end of this 5-minute presentation, we’re confident you’ll agree this Portal will reduce your sales management time and effort considerably. Advance to the next slide when you’re ready….. The Portal is divided into Three Sections My Dashboard is where you manage your sales, design registration, and pricing Media is open to the public and houses all the TQ Logos, Photos, Brochures, etc. Design Central is for Tech Notes, Customer Qualifiers and FAE Support Let’s start with the Media Section…….

The Main Portal Elements: Media (Public Access) My Dashboard Design Central A Repository for TQ and Convergence Marketing Material A Center to Organize and Track your Special Pricing, Sales and Orders FAQs, Customer Qualifiers, Tech Notes and Technical Support Hotlines

The Media Section Now, Press relations firms, Show organizers looking for logos, partners looking for product photos, customers wanting access to the latest application notes and articles—everyone will be able to easily locate everything they need in this section of the Portal.

The Media Section: Product Photos Photos are in tabbed sections to make them easy to locate. Right-click on any image to save it as a high-res jpeg.

The Dashboard The Dashboard is the Project Management portion of the Portal. It is private, password-protected and only accessible to the Manufacturer’s Reps and selected personnel from Convergence and TQ-Group. The next section will deal with the contents of the Dashboard. The Convergence Webmaster will contact all our sales reps and direct them to the registration page where they can select their own passwords and complete a short profile.

My Customer Support: Ordering Demos Ordering Demos under the Fast-Track system is simple. For qualified customers, Convergence will loan Starter Kits for a limited period. Simply fill out the request, select the Starter Kit, and submit the form for consideration.

My Customer Support: Customer Qualifier Often, trying to find out the best way to approach and sell a customer depends on what their needs are. We have put together a Customer Qualifier to help narrow down and define their requirements. Asking these questions and observations like how experienced the customer is can help us provide the right solution. Simply complete and submit this form if you want help from us to sell a customer.

My Customer Support: My Price List . The most current price lists for both RoboDrive and Embedded Products will appear in this section.

Order Management: Design Registration & Sales Register your Design Win, and confirm the Sale when (hopefully), it occurs. .

Order Management: Partner Profile Update If you move, or change a phone number or email address, let us know by posting your changes on the Profile page. .

Order Management: Reference Designs Reference Designs can be an important resource, and this collection of case studies is easily accessible on the Portal. Note: Some of this information is proprietary, so before you show a potential customer what other companies in the industry are doing with our products, check with a TQ or Convergence Representative. .

Order Management: Presentations . This page contains the actual Convergence TQ Products information. It is presented as a Power Point so you can quickly modify it to meet your customer or sales call requirements.

The Portal: Next Steps . Thank you for taking the time to review the features and content of the Portal. While new procedures can sometimes require a learning curve, we have designed this to be as simple and efficient to use as possible. Of course, we will modify it over the course of this year, so your use experience and input will help guide our decisions and changes.
