Taking Care of Schaef’s House Art & Clean Up Rules Taking Care of Schaef’s House

Glue Rules: No sniffing the glue No eating the glue No glue hand masks No messing with the glue labels Close the glue lids Put glue away in the upright position

Scissor Rules: No running with the scissors No hair cuts with the scissors No scissor sword fights No cutting your fingernails with the scissors No cleaning your finger or toe nails with the scissors

Marker Rules: No marker tattoos Put the lids back on and listen for the “security snap” No marker towers No sniffing the markers

Magazine Rules: No reading them in class unless you are already done with work. Put them back on the shelf neatly, in the bins provided.

Appearance of Art Neat Appropriate size lettering Adequate white space Use of borders when possible Follow directions regarding design and use of color

Clean UP rules: Nothing on the floor or under the desks Notebooks on the shelf in the correct order. Everything back in the correct bins—NEATLY!!!! Help clean it up even if it isn’t yours. Work together! No one leaves the room until it is clean.
