Health Physician – a person qualified to practice medicine Paramedic – first responder to an emergency and gives medical care before the hospital Pharmacist – prepares and dispenses medical drugs Surgeon – performs surgery to patients Emergency medical technician – provides basic emergency services before and during transportation to a hospital Nutritionist – someone who gives advice on how food affects your health Optician – examines eyes and supplies eyeglasses and contact lenses to help vision Dietitian–alters patient’s nutrition based upon their medical condition and individual needs Pharmacy technician – dispenses prescription drugs and medical devices to patients and instructing on their use

Health Dentist – examines teeth and jaw; finds a solution for better health Radiation Therapist – responsible for delivering radiation in the treatment of cancer Medical assistant – supports work of health professionals such as physicians; usually in clinic setting Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – provides routine care for the sick Radiographer – works with technology to produce X-rays, CT scans and MRI scans to assist clinical radiologists Medical Laboratory Scientist – performs diagnostic analyses on body fluids Nurse Practitioner – provide treatment to acute illness and chronic conditions Perfusionist – uses the heart-lung machine during cardiac surgery Podiatrist – treat conditions of the foot ankle and leg.

My two favourites: Health Occupational Therapist – provides therapy that encourages rehabilitation doing activities required in daily life. They work in partnership with patients to identify important and valued activities that are difficult so they can help change. Athletic trainers – play a significant role in the management, prevention, recognition and rehabilitation of injured athletes. They administer immediate emergency and follow-up care.

Business Consultant – provides expert advice Business manager – drives the work of others to run a major business and make a large profit Chief Executive Officer – makes major decisions, manages the overall operations and resources of a company Chief Operating Officer – oversees ongoing business operations within the company President – generally in command in an organization or company Chief information officer – responsible for the information technology and computer systems Creative director – plan advertising and helps marketing companies Chief human resources officer – oversees all aspects of human resource management Chief economist – has primary responsibility for the development of economic and financial analysis

Business Budget director – advisor on policies, procedures, and finances with a company Accountant – keeps or inspects financial accounts Marketing manager – develops marketing strategy for a company Marketing research analyst – analyzes market data and studies consumers Product manager – responsible for the strategy and feature definition for that product line Entrepreneur – someone who invests a lot in an idea to create and market a product Financial analyst – researches a companies conditions to make business recommendations Investment advisor – advises people what to invest in Independent Director – director of a board of directors who does not have a relationship with the company or related persons

My two favourites: Business Marketing consultant – provides expert advice on what a products market might need. They also track sales and feedback and adjusts marketing strategies as necessary. Director of communication – manages internal and external communications. They also supervise public relations staff, create communication strategies, and may serve as the key spokesperson and media contact for the organization.

Educating and training College Professor – primarily instruct post-secondary students. High school teacher – teaches secondary students Teaching assistant – assist teachers in the needs of the class Special education teacher – assist students with special needs Tutor – helps students with their studies outside of school system University professor – primary task is research and they also teach students Driving Instructor –teach how to drive and road safety Youth Care Worker –work with children who face emotional, behavioral or physical problems School Counselor – advises students on which courses to take

Educating and training Coach – trains people in a certain sport or activity Fitness trainer – motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback from fitness exercises Fitness consultant – analyzes your needs, motivations, lifestyle and goals. Flight instructor – teaches how to fly airplane Secretary – employed in an office to assist with correspondence, keep records and make appointments Custodian – cleans and maintains a building Curriculum developer – someone who develops what the students learn that year Librarian – provide community with easy access to information and recreational resources Principal – head of a school; needs to be a great leader which links to strong student performance

My two favourites: Educating and Training Vocational teacher – instructs students in skills that will prepare the students for a particular type of work. Teaching jobs in this profession can be rewarding because you get to do so much hands-on work with the students. They use prior experience to teach the new students. Personal trainer – someone who makes a specific program to match your lifestyle. They help promote realistic health and fitness goals to help them achieve their intended goals.
