THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD AND SUCCEED You can lead in the growing green economy. America needs millions of new skilled workers for jobs in solar, wind, energy efficiency and green building. SOLAR, WIND & ENERGY EFFICIENCY All non-fossil fuel technologies (renewable energy, energy efficiency, low carbon) create more jobs per unit energy than coal and natural gas. Aggressive energy efficiency measures combined with a 30% Renewable Portfolio Standards target in 2030 can generate over 4 million full-time-equivalent job-years by 2030. (Source: Berkeley Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory, November 2009) GREEN BUILDING The green building market has expanded fivefold over the last three years to a $48 billion national market—and is projected to triple in the next five years. HANDS-ON TRAINING WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS Gain relevant job experience! Many courses and programs include hands-on projects and internships with local employers. Contact the career placement office at xxx-xxx-xxxx to learn more. COURSES WE OFFER Following are just a few of sustainability courses we offer.
