Burnie Works Collective Impact. - Governments cannot create change. Outsiders cannot create change. We know the best way to create change is from within their community. We know the best solutions are those that are locally designed and implemented by the people who experience them. - Real change comes from place–based solutions 10 minutes – safe activity , meeting others, get up and move around the room. – Sandra ( Activity TBC)

Go Goldfields Collective Impact Common Agenda Statement: Our community supports everyone to learn, earn and achieve. We aspire to… Provide everyone in Central Goldfields Shire with an opportunity to learn and reach their potential, to lead fulfilling and productive lives, and to contribute positively to the community by increasing their employability and work ready skills. 10 minutes – safe activity , meeting others, get up and move around the room. – Sandra ( Activity TBC)

% youth engaged in community organisations A place based approach example Nearly 50% of our youth are not engaged in any community organisation. Up from 24% previous year. From this it was decided to hold a Volunteer Expo to engage youth and community Organisations. 10 minutes – safe activity , meeting others, get up and move around the room. – Sandra ( Activity TBC)

Work Readiness Communication • A place-based approach to increasing employability and work ready skills encourages local organisations to use community knowledge, evidence and partnerships to develop strategies and activities to influence the factors required to contribute to positive social change. • The best solutions are those that are locally designed and implemented by the people who experience them and the best way to create change is from within. • We will achieve this through strong collaboration between community, education, employment services and business with a key focus on raising aspirations for our community utilising a test, try and learn approach to our objectives. 10 minutes – safe activity , meeting others, get up and move around the room. – Sandra ( Activity TBC)
