Summary Gabby is a straight-A student. Also she is very involved in school activities. One day, she decided to lose weight actually she was not fat. Within a couple of weeks she had lost weight. At first every one noticed and complimented the change of her figures. But she was not satisfied with her change. She lost weight at a fast rate, and every time she lost a pound she was elated. Now in looking back, she realizes she became addicted to. She could go three days without eating. No one said nice things to her and no one was complimenting her. She needed help, and yet there was no way she could ask for it.

Summary One night her father brought a steak. He required eating steak. She was very in pain. All her life she had done things for every- one else. The grades, the manners, the awards-everything for them nothing for her. This losing weight had become hers. But her dad was trying to take that away from her, too. She has realized her wrongs by herself since that night. Then she began to heal. Now that she is at her ideal weight. She no longer peruse fashion magazines, either she may not be “in style,” but she feel just right.

Vocabulary innocently [ínəsəntli] [Adv] in a naively innocent manner anorexia [ӕnəréksiə] [N] a prolonged disorder of eating due to loss of appetite elated [iléitid] [Adj] full of high-spirited delight

Vocabulary euphoria [juːfɔ́ːriə] [N] a feeling of great (usually exaggerated) elation out of reach [Adj] inaccessibly located or situated peruse [pərúːz] [V] examine or consider with attention and in detail

Opinion These days lookism is prevalent in our society. The broadcasting media and fashion magazine portray the perfect image. So many people want to have a perfect image although they are not fat. I think comparing yourself with celebrities is not good. When comparing them it will cause unhappiness or disease like anorexia. Now, it’s a good thing that Gabby overcomes her problem. Lastly I want to say do not compare others.

Opinion She has become very thin, but do not eat that much food. She was starving every day, anorexia can take. Anorexia is bad for health. Take always unusually cold and get sick often. Aerobic, exercise and yoga will be a balanced body. How to lose weight without being hungry plenty of rice available. As she must love herself.

Thank you !
