Training Programme at Noida 05th & 06th May 2017 By PRV SIVARAMAKRISHNA VISAKHAPATNAM CHAPTER OF SIRC OF THE ICSI

Actual obtained against the Targets in the year 2016 S.No FP Target 2016 FP Achievement 2016 % Achieve EP Target EP Achievement 1 75 49 65.33% 275 258 93.81% Actual obtained against the Targets in the year 2017 as on 25th April 2017 S.No FP Target 2016 FP Achievement 2016 % Achieve EP Target EP Achievement 1 85 22 25.88% 300 48 16%

SWOT OF THE CHAPTER Strength Having major educational 3 Universities and 35 colleges at Visakhapatnam approached them organizing yearly one CAP. One ICSI Counselors also organizing CAP and motivating Students, 20 nos Young and energetic Company Secretary members who may indirectly help to increase the registrations by way of canvass to near and dear and other Professionals. Weakness Unable to cover all the Colleges due to other operational works at chapter. 25% coverage of colleges and schools in and around the Visakhapatnam City. Not in a position to cover all districts. Which may require dedicatedly to the job. Opportunity Visakhapatnam having Industrial corridor, Smart city having opportunity in Employment and Practice. Training Facility also available to Students. Examination Centre also available, Oral Coaching facility, Library facility at Chapter. Threat Maximum of Principles are science background not allowing for us to org CAP, Support from HOD is very less to encourage the students. Not Allowing few colleges and Immediate superior not in a position to spend time to interact them. Added Amaravathi Chapter our efforts benefit to them.

Strategy to increase registration S.No Steps Already Taken Steps To be taken 1 Career Awareness Programmes organized 2014-19, 2015-39, 2016-79 Target taken as in 2017- 100 nos. in and around Visakhapatnam Rural and Urban areas. 2 Posters Displayed at Major commerce colleges 2016- 30 nos 2017-40 nos 3 Student Data collection at the time of organizing the CAP i.e, which may not much useful due to some of phones wrong and some them not mentioned. Data of Top 10 of every colleges to be taken and focus to particular students . Planned in 2017 approx 20 colleges *10 toppers targeting 200 students. [Example we will issue letter to college for quiz competition we need top 10 students participation, we will organize quiz and that data can utilize for our CS registrations.] 4 Poster display at public library point of every City. Example[GMR Library Srikaulam] Co ordinate with Librarian if any events to participate and awareness to participants about CS along with Student Aid Fund and other awards. [Proposed to participate their events at least 5 Planned but not imitated in 2016 for CAP through Members. Planning to at least 10 members can participate in CAP at least yearly one. Those register each 2 students can participate 4 pch Prog Free at Visakhapatnam Chapter.

Month-wise micro controls to achieve the targets To maintain data sheet targets Vs achievement on every month periodically checkup where we and how we to achieve it. With our raw data of CAP and sources from HQ. To take target every month at least 10% then automatically we will achieve <100%. From January to Feb we have to control to reach our target levels at least 10-15% on existing data of CAP and co ordinate with Colleges and remind them to last date of Registration in EP prog as 28th Feb . March – Special focus to +2 students for Foundation Registrations 31st March Last date April – May – to Participate in Career Fairs and try to manage as Spot registration to reach our target ratio at least to increase 5-10%. And target to Employees in banks/PSU/other companies. [Due to Colleges are in leaves] June-Aug . This is a time to increase 25% target based on old CAP data and new CAP data and also to co ordinate with HODs for interested students organise a special session for online registrations. SEP. Again foundation targets compare with old data those are missed to register remind them to last date 30th Sep for Foundation. Oct-Nov: to increase 25% wrt. Old data of CAP and new CAP data those are not registered remind them to register again, counsel again. Dec: Based on above EP will reach 90% targets and rest 10% plan in Dec month. As like FP .

Strategy to increase registration steps to be taken S.No Objective Description of Indicative Actions 1 Students Trying to Collect the Data from Colleges of Top 10 of +2 & Degree Students maximum focus to counsel them and registration in to CS 2 Members Members can organize yearly one Career Awareness Programme and to register minimum 2 nos students in a year and get benefit free to participate in one full day seminar. 3 Library Trying to display our post at each library of school/colleges/ Govt Library with contact details of Chapter. 4 Communication Written Communication to Major Commerce strength colleges about our Due date of registrations along with our chartered secretary or any other related book to Principal/Correspondent for remember of our Institute and course. 5 RC/HQ If RC / HQ to plan in every regional language one quiz competition in Television or at least one SMS Contest for Companies Act or any necessary ACT to increase the Brand and as well as registrations. RC/ HQ to plan one joint programme with Media to public at large about CA Act / CSR/ any related as well as about our course. 6 Training / Employment RC/ HQ to plan a special training programme to non CS Students and issue one certificate to attract the students in CS Course. If any assurance towards employment at least CS Executive Passed students . If any tie up with Employment Exchanges / Skill Industries / Corporations/ MSME etc. 7 Students Covered Even a Signature Award, If Chapter may spend at least Rs.10000/- per year for each college top 5 students one small memento like 10 colleges we can give 50 mementos creates more awareness at close to students at large. 8 Industrial Awareness To Invite in our every seminar from one Industry either MD/ Dir Fin/ HR head and to know about our Course and strength of CS.
