Differences and Similarities My Church Differences and Similarities

Communion! my Church only does communion on special occasions, such as easter, first communion. christmas, ect. I couldn't get the cup for communion on camera so heres another one instead:

Prayer Bowl This bowl here is used to invite us to prayer. THis prayer bowl is used by the minister. (She rings the bell to make the sound.)

Candles We light these candles during Advent and Lent.

Alter! This is where our minister usually speaks and lights the candles of lent. She reads the Bible here as well.

Baptismal font! Our baptismal font is shaped like a triangular prism with a bath on the top. When we baptise one of the congregation we make a sign of the cross on the forehead.

Lectern this is where the bible, messages, and news from the committee is read.

Pews! This is where the congregation sits.

Cross! The cross is displayed in front of the pews and on the organ so everyone can see it.

Tabernacle we do not have a tabernacle in our church, because we only have communion on special occasions but here is what it looks like:

Bible Our bible is displayed on the altar for our minister to read.

Organ The organ is a big part in our mass because it helps move through the mass and move closer with god.
