Service Your service should be spread over several areas (not all church/religious related) All service should include details regarding your responsibilities/duties Service is doing for others without ANY type of compensation/reward.

Leadership Leadership is any position to which you have been appointed or elected. Leaders must have verification that they have fulfilled their duties in the elected position(s). If you feel you are a leader but do not hold a specific leadership position, you need to be very specific about your role and it must be verified.

Character Character is how others perceive you, not how you perceive yourself!! If a teacher has to tell you several times to put on your ID badge, not a trait of good character. If you are called out for being disobedient, talking or being rude in class, not a good trait. Keep in mind, just because you have never been written up does not mean you display good character!!!!!!

All leadership, activity and service MUST be verified with signature and contact number. If there is any doubt about an item qualifying and there is not a contact number – you do not get credit. As the selection committee may not be familiar with your particular organization/project/role – it is up to you to clarify and include proper contact information.

PARENTS/RELATIVES DO NOT COUNT. Only the person in charge of the activity can verify. If you wait until the last minute and that person is unavailable to verify, you will not get credit.
