Where is Kalamazoo Did you know that the Kalamazoo’s baseball team called the Kalamazoo Kings received the Corporative Citizen of the Year Award?Kalamazoo is located in the Lower Peninsula. It is in the southwest corner of Michigan.

Kalamazoo names Kalamazoo has many names for its city. Kalamazoo got its name from the Native Americans meaning, “The Paper City” For its many papers and cardboard mills."
