March 21, 2016

Drexel’s uniquely created business and research data and other digital collections are institutional records, subject to protection, preservation, organization, and accessibility for proper re-use.

The Data and Digital Stewardship division plays a key role in evolving and implementing the Libraries support of a university-wide approach to research data management and curation of digital content.

3. Data Tools Consultation on resources for data analysis, visualization, GIS

4. Support for Research Data Management Example: Feedback to Faculty on their Data Management Plans for NSF proposals

Consultation on Managing Data Required to Publish Research Example: Assisted faculty member with DOIs and ARKs for Publications using EZID

Partnerships to Curate Data Promote a Federation of Repositories Example: Joined ICPSR, Adding Research Data into our Institutional Repository

Example: Data in Dryad

Archiving Data with ICPSR Drexel is an Institutional Member of ICPSR* which provides support for archiving social science and public health related data * Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research
