EHRA Performance Appraisal Policy Objectives Introduce new performance appraisal program for EHRA-NF permanent employees. Provide an overview of key elements of the new program’s requirements for UNC General Administration and all constituent institutions.

UNC Goals Individual Goals/Objectives Professional Development Performance Cycle: July 1 – June 30 Submit the performance evaluation with overall rating to DHR by August 1 DHR will provide UNC-GA the overall rating by August 31.

Rating Methodology Level 3 “Exceeding Expectations” routinely perform above expected performance of their assigned duties and are generally considered among the highest performing employees within the work unit. Level 2 “Meeting Expectations” generally perform at, and on occasions may exceed, a successful level of performance of their assigned duties. Level 1 “Not Meeting Expectations” often perform below an acceptable level of performance of their assigned duties or have demonstrated substantial performance deficiencies in certain assigned duties.
