Minerals planning update: Pre-election Review of Minerals Planning Policy British Geological Survey (BGS) were commissioned to evaluate the implementation the Mineral Policy Statements and Mineral Policy Guidance notes CLG have received draft report

Minerals planning update: pre-election Aggregate guidelines Guidelines issued on 6 June 2009; RAWPs making progress in apportioning to sub-regional level Future of RAWPs Contracts expired on 31 March 2010 Extension agreed for six months

Minerals planning update: pre-election Extending 1APP to minerals applications Under consideration AM2009 survey Contract awarded to the BGS and the survey began at the end of March Joint BGS-CLG programme Minerals Safeguarding Guidance – with CLG for consideration
