What is Sched? https://2017mlaannualconference. sched.com/ Event schedule organizer View events by time/date, venue, and track. Read session descriptions and learn about speakers beforehand Mobile friendly

Create An Account Sign up for a free Sched account to: Create a custom schedule Network with other attendees Take your event schedule on the go. On the MLA Sched page, click “SIGN UP” (upper right corner) to create an account using Facebook or your email. You will receive a welcome email with a link to view your profile and schedule.

Set Up A Profile Once you have create an account, go to your settings page to add a photo and update your profile. Using Facebook saves you time by automatically importing photo, website and bio. You can updated your username and reset the password on your account. Connect to your social media accounts to see friends attending MLA. While browsing the event schedule, you can also see what sessions your friends are attending too.

View Session Details & Speaker Directory View the full schedule and hover over a session title for details or click through to the sessions details. If you’re looking for a specific session, use the search bar or filter the schedule by color-coded type. Click on the “Speakers” tab at the top of any page to view all speakers and other attendees using the navigation bar.

Add and Remove Sessions from Your Schedule Click the circle next to the session’s name to make a personal schedule of what you’re looking forward to. Click the check mark again to remove the session from your schedule. Click your profile picture at any time to get back to your personal schedule.

Email or Print Your Schedule Email your personal schedule to a friend with the envelope icon or email yourself a confirmation with the “Email My Sched” button on your schedule page. Click the printer icon for print- ready views of the full schedule or just your favorites. Print versions can also be filtered by date, venue and type. It’s like having a paper guidebook customized just for you.

Sched for Mobile Devices Click the mobile icon to view the URL for the mobile app. When you visit the event’s page on a mobile device, you’ll automatically get the mobile version which you can then bookmark to your home screen. Want to make sure you don’t over book meetings during your event? Use iCal links for Apple iCal or Google Calendar and you’ll be able to see any overlaps in your schedule.

Using Twitter Search From the Web From a Mobile Device Enter your search query into the search box at the top of the page. Your results will show a combination of Tweets, photos, accounts, and more. Filter your results by clicking Top, Latest, People, Photos, Videos, News, or Broadcasts (located at the top of your search results). Click the Search filters drop-down to filter your results From anyone or People you follow, and Anywhere or Near you. Additionally, you can select a different language or perform an Advanced search. Open your Twitter app and tap the Explore tab (see right) Enter your search into the search box and tap Search. Filter your results by tapping Top, Latest, People, Photos, Videos, News, or Periscopes (located at the top of your search results) Tap the filter icon (see right for IOS and Android) in the search bar to refine your results by people and location.

Using Twitter Search To search for Tweets mentioning an account, enter the username, preceded by the @ symbol, into the search box at the top of the page. If you see a hashtag in someone's Tweet, clicking or tapping it will perform a search for Tweets containing that exact hashtag. To save a search, click the more/overflow icon at the top of your results page and then click “Save this search” (Web) or “Save” (Mobile device).
