What is ROTC? Reserve Officers Training Corps Where students learn leadership skills and Army doctrine in preparation in becoming Army Officers. Receive both basic military training and officer training. Must maintain grades Meet the Army Physical Fitness Standard

1LT in the Army Specialist Corps Master’s degree in PA studies from the University of Nebraska or Fort Sam Houston, TX (San Antonio) 29 months of training 16 mo. Didactic, 13 mo. Clinical 1LT in the Army Specialist Corps Applicants must already be a member of the Army 60 semester hours of undergraduate work to apply 54-Active Duty; 8 years- Army Reserve Must already be in the Army/Army Reserve/National Guard http://www.usarec.army.mil/armypa/ http://www.cs.amedd.army.mil/ipap/

Tremendous institutional support from Graduate School, Academy of Health Sciences, AMEDDC&S and at 22 dedicated Tri-Service MTF clinical training sites. Get paid to learn, no tuition or student fees, while enjoying no-cost laptop and book use during your pre-clinical phase. Your place of duty will be IPAP. You will continue to receive all military benefits (such as healthcare, dental, legal, and credit for military retirement) during the entire 29-month program. IPAP graduates have excellent opportunities for career growth and continuing education.

Inter-service Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP) Repay up to $40,000 of qualified loans to lending institutions annually (Max of 3 yrs.) Entitled to incentive pay (must possess their NCCPA certification) Health Professional Loan Repayment Program $50,000 for repayment of qualified education loans Eligibility is based on each year of satisfactory service in the Army Reserve Troop Command, AMEDD Professional Medical Command, or in the Individual Mobilization Augmentee Program.
