Railex Project Walla Walla County, Washington “Streamlining Produce Distribution”

RAILEX SHIPPING VOLUMES Each 55 railcar unit train equals approximately 8 to 10 million pounds of produce shipped to East Coast. Three (3) unit trains per week.

RAILEX SHIPPING VOLUMES Approximately 1 RAILEX SHIPPING VOLUMES Approximately 1.0 billion pounds of produce and wine is shipped annually to the East Coast.

The Railex’s business model adds additional value and markets to the Pacific Northwest Agriculture and wine industry. Railex is recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a SmartWay Transport Partner. Since the inception of Railex business model in 2006, there has been the following positive impacts:
