DOING BUSINESS in BRAZIL Professor ‘Zach’ Zacharakis Zacharakis@babson.edu 781-239-4497 Professor of Entrepreneurship Former Venture Capitalist, current Angel investor Annually travel to Brazil for Babson; since 2003

DOING BUSINESS in BRAZIL Purpose This course focuses on business opportunities within Brazil. Upon returning, students should have a sense of what opportunities present themselves within Brazil and/or opportunities that can be exported to other countries. Benefits Students will meet with entrepreneurs, tour production facilities, examine lifestyle businesses and social entrepreneurship.

DOING BUSINESS in BRAZIL Pre-travel academic session(required): Friday, March 3rd , 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm (pre meeting assignments will be assigned in January) Online orientation must be completed prior to academic session Travel dates: March 17-26, 2017 Course wrap up: completed in country Cities: Sao Paulo, Parati and Rio de Janeiro Deliverables: Industry Sector group presentations at pre-travel academic session Case preparation and discussion during pre-travel academic session Final (Individual) Opportunity Paper (due upon return to campus)-DUE APRIL 17
