Equator Imaginary line of latitude in the middle of the earth going east and west Measures 0* latitude

Latitude They go the same direction as the Equator. Imaginary lines going east and west that circle the Earth

Prime meridian Imaginary line of longitude in the middle of the earth going north and south Measures 0* longitude

Longitude They go the same direction as the Prime Meridian Imaginary lines going north and south that circle the Earth Longitude

Continents Seven main landmasses: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Antarctica, Australia

Oceans Large Area of Sea: Pacific, Atlantic, Southern, Indian, Arctic
