Characters: The characters in the book Smile are Riana, Kelli, Amara, Nicole, Jenny, Karin, Emily, Justin, Sean, and Melisa.

Setting: Home, School, Dental Office, and Friend’s House.

Plot: The plot of this book is that Raina gets braces and goes to school and has many experiences with the trials and aggravation of braces and dental visits.

Theme: The theme of this story is about a girl named Raina who gets braces because she trips and falls. She tells her story of the pain and agony of tinsel teeth.
