Halloween Safety By Thomas and Odhran

Trick or Treating Safety Children should always go out trick or treating accompanied by a responsible adult. If you have a group of kids going, the parents should organise to go along and keep an eye on things

FIREWORK SAFETY Keep children away from fireworks. Always have a responsible adult to light the fireworks. FIREWORK SAFETY

Stranger Danger Never trick or treat a person you do not know, only if an adult is with you. Never get into a strangers car if they ask you to! Do not take sweets from strangers.

ROAD SAFETY When you’re trick or treating be extra careful when crossing the road. Do all the houses on one side of the road then get an adult to cross you to do the other side. Try to wear bright colours orhave a flashlight.

Pet Safety As much as your dog or cat may beg for some of your Halloween sweets, always remember that chocolate is deadly to them in any amount. There's a chemical that naturally occurs in chocolate that they can not tolerate.

Thank you for watching our PowerPoint. We hope you have a very Happy Halloween but remember STAY SAFE!
