Day 4 - Thursday 08.00- Breakfast 08.20- Pack and clear rooms 08.30- Leave Accommodation 10.00- Visit Goat’s Cheese Farm ( La Huberdière) 11.30- Leave Farm 12.30- Lunch in ‘Buffalo Grill’ , outside Cherbourg 14.30- Leave to Cherbourg 15.30- Arrival at port 17.00- Ferry leaves Cherbourg 19.00.- Arrival at Portsmouth 20.00- Arrival at Stroud
Food for Journey X Please provide your child with some food for the Journey Packed breakfast &packed lunch Of course you child can buy hot food on the ferry Please avoid fizzy drinks & chocolate
What to pack… You have a list in your booklet with recommendations of what to pack. However.. . Passport EU Health Card Pocket money (lunch, postcards, ice creams) Drink (preferably water) & snack for journey Things to do on journey ( book, puzzles, etc) Any special medication you need (see Matron) Comfortable shoes / trainers Sunglasses, sun cream , sun hat / cap
What to pack – part 2 Light weight, water proof jacket 2 pairs of jeans/trousers/skirts 2 warm jumpers Pyjamas/ socks 4 or more changes of clean underwear Towel Plastic bag for dirty washing Slim money belt Small rucksack Writing equipment Your booklet has a few tips in French Camera iPod (if you have one)
Medication Travel sickness pills –Please provide your child with them. Specific medication labelled & given to teacher in charge. Matron is our appointed First aid
Money Between -60 to 70 Euros for lunch and presents. Between £ 20 -£30 in Sterling for ferry Please place money in an envelope with name, amount. (small notes only please !!!!!(5 & 10 euro notes)
