Clothing Layers of clothing are advised. London can be quite warm and muggy at this time of year, growing cooler at night. SENSIBLE footwear-we will be walking a lot! No new shoes! Light jackets/cardigans advised. Safe and secure small bags for wallets/sunglasses/tickets etc. 13

MEDICAL We must be informed of any special dietary requirements-(other than those already mentioned on the medical forms). Please forward any medication/inhalers/Epipens etc. that you wish the STAFF to manage. Qualified First Aiders All medical information recorded Full First Aid kit carried with us at all times Insurance Risk Assessments Contact info. Allergies/Painkillers

Children to stay on the platform and a member of staff will return for them.

Emergency plan In the event of an emergency:    All group leaders will carry appropriate First Aid packs and individual medication for the pupils in their group. Should there be an evacuation/Tube or Bus suspension or any other disturbance to the plan, groups are to make their way back to the Hotel. A room will be identified and allocated in the hotel for this purpose. As soon as possible, group leaders are to contact GCMS to confirm they have reached their destination.

Emergency plan cont…   · Pupils must ensure that their mobile phones are switched on but MUST NOT try to contact home unless instructed to do so by a member of staff. · Pupils will be given the emergency contact number for the school mobile as well as the school itself. They will be asked to put this into their phones on the journey down as per usual. CONTRACT-code of conduct when in hotel rooms.

Possessions and Money Mobile phones are allowed. Amount of money is entirely at your discretion-we would recommend no more than £50.00. IPods/ipads/handheld games consoles/books/magazines etc. are recommended for train journeys to London and back only. Cameras and other equipment can be carried at pupil’s own responsibility. 19
