What should I start with? Basics: Short Term Needs Water 1 gallon of water per person per day. Minimum 3 day supply for your group. Food Clothing A full set of clothes including shoes. Toilet Paper
B.O.B. The Bug Out Bag Pre-filled bag, ready to go with no warning. Already has the basic survival items you need when life’s disasters hit. Have a bag for every member of the family.
Have Bag Ready At All Times Place clothing in large zip lock bags and press out air. This keeps contents small and protected from water. Include Eye Glasses Repair Kit and Spare Glasses if you have them. Include a whistle for signaling help. Include cash for unforeseen items, like lodging. Include a flash drive with a back up of important files and documents like insurance policies. Photograph contents of you home. This will help replacement with insurance policies.
