Revision of schedule We have two report periods (M1-15, M16-30) and also that reviews are on M15 and M30. Also that the starting date will be 1st Nov 2017. In practice this means: M3=JAN2018, and we will have to report : D1.1 Report on initial managerial actions: setup of boards, allocation of resources, quality plan, risk analysis. (WP1, CSIC) D1.3a Communication Measures: Plan and Implementation Status. (WP1, CSIC) D3.1 Initial plan and definition of the software lifecycle management processes and procedures (WP3, INFN) and in M4=FEB2018 D6.1 State-of-the-art Deep Learning (DL), Neural Network (NN) and Machine Learning (ML) frameworks and libraries (WP6 IISAS) The next batch of deliverables comes in M6=APR2018 D2.1 Initial Plan on the selection of use cases and the strategy for the devops pipelines(WP2 HMGU) D4.1 Assessment of available technologies for supporting accelerators and HPC, initial design and implementation plan (all tasks) (WP4 IISAS) D5.1 Definition of the architecture of the High Level Hybrid Cloud (WP5 INFN) D6.2 Design document and work plan for the DEEP as a Service solution (WP6 CSIC) and then we will have in M9=JULY2018 D3.2 Pilot testbed and integration architecture with EOSC large scale infrastructures (WP3 LIP) and then we get to another large batch of deliverables by M12=Nov2018 (D1.4a, D4.2, D5.2, D6.3) where we will have to report on the first prototypes, and then in M15=FEB2019 three more status reports, PLUS THE FIRST REVIEW (likely in March 2019).

Actions to consider regarding the schedule Seeing this schedule, and wanting to have a "not-stressing" project, rather the opposite, we will try to start working on the ToC of the deliverables in November, using as much as possible the remote collaboration tools, and my proposal is to have the KickOffMeeting in Bologna in January, hosted by INFN, and back to back with the XDC KoM. This will allow us to have a real working meeting to close the first deliverables, and prepare the next batch, and advance on the common exploitation with INDIGO partners. This proposal has yet to be agreed, and then discussed with XDC. Have in mind that 8-12 Jan there will be the EOSC-Hub KoM, so our meeting would take place likely in the week 22-25 January. Another important point is to have by then all project contracts active, so the team is in place. The discussion will also focus on the architecture, and design documents (M6 deliverables) that should be drafted. The next meeting would then be in Santander, in June, M8, and will be focused on the work pending to have the testbed in good shape and discuss the work for the first prototypes: we aim to be at last 1-2 months of advance to the milestones. This meeting again could be back to back with XDC, and AFTER a large event in May (or so) for EOSC-Hub (to be confirmed). Completing the first year, we could have another in-situ meeting around the end of November 2018, to review the status after the first release, and start preparing for the review in Luxembourg in M15/16 (February or March 2019).

Lightweight management - "Light" Deliverables - Tracking progress - Links for reporting activity Need ideas! Positioning towards dissemination and exploitation - DataCloud Common Dissemination Booster We have joined forces INDIGO, XDC and DEEP to go into a Common Dissemination Booster, a new initiative from European Commission to receive professional support to disseminate our results. This means in practice that we will have to identify soon our main expected results!  The CDB includes: portfolio identification, stakeholder/end-user mapping, portfolio dissemination plan development and plan development, dissemination capaign in practice. We need a (nice) logo asap. We can do a contest, unless someone has a better idea. We are also preparing a dissemination web page. - Contact with other initiatives and companies - Open Board
