Contact Information Click on the ‘Contact Information’ tab across the top and fill out all of the details you can. When you have finished select ‘Save contact details’.

Contact Information You may need to add your Parent/Guardian contact details at home if you don’t know them. This contact information is very important and needs to stay up to date. Please ensure that if there are any changes to your contact information, you log on and update your UCAS Progress Profile.

Personal Information After clicking on the ‘Personal Information’ tab at the top you will be able to complete this section. When you have finished click ‘Complete Section’ or if you want to save and come back later click ‘Save Section’. If you click complete you can still go back and edit the information.

Work History If you have more than one work experience to add select ‘Save and add another’. When you are finished click ‘I have added all of my work history’.

Personal Statement You will also need to add a short Personal statement to your profile to give institutions an idea about what your are like as a student. You can add this on the ‘Personal Statement’ tab at the top. If you have done this already, please paste it into this section. There is a help sheet on what to put in your personal statement on the VLE (Courses > Student Services > UCAS Progress).

Adding a course to favourites If you are considering a course you can select ‘Add to favourites’. You need to do this before you can apply for a course. If you click on the ‘Favourites’ tab at the top you can see all of the courses you have added to favourites.

Checking your Profile Before sending an application make sure your profile is complete by clicking on the ‘Summary’ tab. Ensure that each section has a green tick next to it. You can also click ‘View the entire profile’ to see your profile how the institutions will see it.
