Merced County Homeless Count & Survey What is it? Homeless population count in Merced. When is it? Thursday, Jan. 28, 6:30am - 8am Deployment at 6:00am Requirements? Orientation and training meet provided by The Merced City and County Continuum of Care
Merced County Homeless Count & Survey Volunteers will be divided into teams of 2-4 people Each team will be assigned to a quadrant in Merced. Merced will be divided into 28 total quadrants. Hotspots are in bear creek and apple gate park which make up 8 of the total 28 quadrants.
Merced County Homeless Count & Survey Volunteers will sign up online (mercedcoc.com) Volunteers will be able to request pairing with partner/friend. When signing up online please add UCM in the tag for affiliated organizations. Workshops will be brought to us so do not worry about that on the sign up online.
Merced County Homeless Count & Survey There will be direct contact and distanced observation. Will include 4 questions and 12 survey questions you are answering on the field. More information and questions can be answered at the orientation and training.
