Hinds Feet On High Places By Hannah Hurnard Overcoming Fear “The Lord God makes my feet like hinds’ feet and setteth me upon High Places” Habakkuk 3:19

Dearest Ladies, This note is an addendum that I wanted to share, since I was not able to finish. I wanted to share in a few slides the lessons the “Much Afraid “ learned during her journey to the High Place, because I have learned many of the same things. So, before the slides, is actually her lessons learned. I appreciate your time and precious faces today as I shared a little tidbit of my testimony, growth and lessons learned in my life. It is my hope that you can learn from my failings and grow in faith, obedience and wisdom in your most precious of relationships…the one with our Lord. I see evidence of God’s gracious, redeeming love everyday and I remain confident of God’s faithfulness. Love, Ms. Swann

Hinds Feet Lessons Learned. . . 1. “I Learned that I must accept with joy all that you allowed to happen to me on the way and everything to which the path led me! That I was never to try to evade it but to accept it and lay down my own will on the altar and say, ‘Behold me, I am thy handmaiden Acceptance with Joy.’”

2. “Then I learned that I must bear all that others were allowed to do against me and to forgive with no trace of bitterness and to say to thee, ‘Behold me—I am thy little handmaiden Bearing-with-Love”

3. “The third thing that I learned was that you much Lord, never regarded me as I actually was, lame and weak and crooked and cowardly. You saw me as I would be when you had done what you promised and had brought me to High Places. You always treated me with the same love and graciousness as though I were a queen already and not wretched little Much-Afraid.”

4. “The fourth thing, was really the first I learned up here 4. “The fourth thing, was really the first I learned up here. Every circumstance ion life, no matter how crooked and distorted and ugly it appears to be, if it is reacted to in love and forgiveness and obedience to your will can be transformed.”

Ephesians 6:10-12 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
