How to apply for an Economic and regional growth cheque (Tillväxtcheck) The Tillväxtcheck target underrepresented groups, in regard to applying for and being granted business support. These are: Women who own and run a business Women and men born outside of Scandinavia, who have lived in Sweden 10 years or less, who own and run a business. Only registered companies can apply for support via an Tillväxtcheck.

Before applying, you will need to prepare the appendices that need to be attached to the application. Current registration certificate Profit budget for the past two years Annual reports from the past two years (for existing businesses) Stand-by letters of credit from financiers (if you have co-financing from, e.g. banks, Almi or Norrlandsfonden, a certificate is required) Quote documentation for cases where costs from the same supplier exceed 75 000 SEK Certificate of de minimis aid. The County Administrative Board has to check to ensure that no company granted aid has reached the EU regulations’ ceiling for minims aid, which is 200 000 EUR, which is equivalent to 1 800 000 SEK.

This is done with an e-ID. If you do not have an e-ID or do not want to use it, you can create a user account. Please note that your application will only be automatically signed if you use an e-ID. Otherwise, a separate signature must be sent to us by post.

Once you are logged in, select New application form and Create new application. Select Support for investments and business development. (Stöd till investeringar och företagsutveckling), two levels. Select the County Administrative Board of Västerbotten (Länsstyrelsen Västerbotten).

In the last part ”Appendices”, you add the supporting documentation you previously prepared. When the application is ready to be signed and submitted, select Validate, Sign and Submit.

When the application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, confirming that your application has been received by Länsstyrelsen. This is the date from which you can begin applying investment costs. All costs prior to that date not eligible.
